Currently building Dripspace · Piteå, Sweden

We are building Dripspace —hosting, kept simple.

Deep Bay Labs is a small Swedish software company, and right now almost all of it points at one thing: our own cloud platform. At select times, we also take on client work that sits close to what we are already building.

Dripspace

In active development

One platform for both websites and web apps

Dripspace runs static sites and SPAs from a flat monthly rate, plus server-rendered frontends, .NET, Node.js and Bun APIs, background services, managed PostgreSQL and S3-compatible storage on sizes you pick. Domains, DNS, SSL and analytics come with it. Traffic is never metered.

It exists because putting an app on the internet had quietly become the hardest part of building one. After a decade spent living with the hyperscalers, we wanted a smaller cloud — one you can read in a single screen — so the time goes into building your app instead of your infrastructure.

Still being built, and smaller than whatever you are leaving — on purpose. The product site has the current detail.

Five services, and that is the list
Frontends, APIs and background work, a database, blob storage, and domains with DNS and SSL. Nothing here solves a problem something else here already solves, so there is no architecture decision to make before you have written anything.
Secure by default
Your services reach your database over a private network rather than the public internet. Credentials arrive in your environment instead of in a setup guide, buckets stay private until you publish them, and certificates issue and renew on their own. All of it in EU regions.
Pricing you can predict
A static site is a flat monthly rate whatever the traffic. Anything that runs code is a bundled size multiplied by the number of instances. Nothing is metered per request, and egress, SSL, DNS and analytics are free at any volume.
Deploy however you work
Drag in a zip, connect a repo, run the CLI or call the REST API — or point an MCP-capable coding agent at it and let it create projects, ship releases and read logs without leaving your editor.

Client work

Selected engagements

Dripspace comes first. Alongside it we occasionally take on smaller projects — two kinds of work, both deliberately modest in scope, and both things we have spent years building long before Dripspace existed.

Bespoke web apps

Internal tools, customer portals, dashboards and the one-off applications that never quite fit an off-the-shelf product. Scoped so we can finish them, on a stack plain enough that someone else could pick them up.

  • Internal tools
  • Customer portals
  • Dashboards

SaaS product development

Smaller multi-tenant products, from the first schema to paying customers — domain modelling, billing, onboarding and the unglamorous internals that decide whether a product survives its second year.

  • Discovery & architecture
  • Full-stack delivery
  • Billing & entitlements

Our capacity for this is deliberately limited. If the timing does not work, we will say so rather than stretch.

What we build it with

A short list we know deeply, rather than whichever framework is ahead this year. It is the same stack behind Dripspace.

Frontend ecosystem

Vue 3 and TypeScript at the centre, with Vue Router for navigation, Pinia for state, Tailwind CSS for styling and Lucide for icons.

.NET

C# on the back end, in whichever shape the project actually calls for rather than one house pattern applied everywhere.

  • MVC
  • Minimal APIs
  • Razor Pages

PostgreSQL & SQL Server

PostgreSQL by default. SQL Server when you already run it and moving off it is not on the table.

Tell us what you are building

Questions about the platform itself are best asked over at dripspace.cloud, where support is answered by the engineers who built it. For anything else — including whether your project is one of the few we take on — write to us and you will get a real answer from an engineer, usually within two working days.
